How we use your information when you visit this website or enquire about a property.

We Buy Commercial Property is a trading name of Rivermark Property Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 17076568. Rivermark Property Ltd is the controller of the information described in this notice.

Information we collect

The enquiry form collects your property postcode and type, name, phone number, email address and connection to the property. We also record your acknowledgement of this notice. Your answers stay in the open browser tab until you press Send enquiry. Unfinished answers are not saved in cookies or local storage.

Website and security systems process connection information needed to deliver and protect the service. Enquiry abuse controls use short-lived keyed hashes derived from request and submission details.

Why we use it

We use your information to respond to your request, assess whether we can help, arrange the next conversation, prevent abuse and maintain necessary business records. We normally rely on legitimate interests for these purposes and may rely on taking steps you request before entering a contract where applicable.

An enquiry does not subscribe you to a mailing list or authorise us to share your property with prospective buyers. Any subsequent work and introductions are agreed separately.

Service providers

This website is hosted by Vercel. Enquiries are submitted securely to Rivermark’s existing website service, which uses Vercel, Resend and Upstash for hosting, email delivery and abuse prevention. We receive the enquiry at enquiries@rivermarkproperty.com and send an acknowledgement to the email address you provide.

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where a restricted transfer occurs, Rivermark requires an applicable adequacy route or appropriate contractual safeguards and any necessary transfer assessment.

Website statistics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to improve the website. It reports aggregate page visits, referring websites, device and browser categories, contact clicks and enquiry steps, including the broad property type selected. A received enquiry is counted only after the delivery service confirms receipt.

Your name, email, phone number, property postcode and free text are not sent to analytics. Page URLs are reduced to known paths; query strings and fragments are removed. We do not use these statistics for advertising profiles or link them to enquiry records.

You can turn statistics off using Analytics settings in the footer. Only that preference is remembered in your browser. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals also stop collection. This choice does not affect enquiry delivery.

Vercel uses a request-derived hash that resets daily for aggregate visitor statistics. Our current reporting window is 12 months; aggregate data may be retained longer to allow a plan upgrade. See Vercel’s analytics privacy information. Fonts and property photographs are served with the website.

How long we keep information

An enquiry that does not become client work is normally kept for 24 months after the last meaningful contact. Short-lived abuse-control hashes expire after 10 or 15 minutes. Records may be kept longer where necessary for a legal duty, complaint, dispute, fraud prevention or an agreed client relationship.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and object to processing. You have an absolute right to object to direct marketing. Where consent is relied on, you can withdraw it. You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Sensitive documents

Please do not include identity documents, bank details or confidential transaction material in a first enquiry. We will explain any further information needed and how to provide it securely.
